Blinq in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design, build and operate the platform powering millions of first interactions. You’ll partner with platform, backend and product engineers to implement resilient systems, automate operations, and improve reliability as we scale globally.

You’ll also lead initiatives to advance observability, incident response and CI/CD, while exploring AI-powered workflows to boost developer productivity and reduce toil.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Site Reliability/Platform/DevOps/Infra
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and operating production systems at scale
• Experience designing high-availability, fault-tolerant architectures
• Strong experience with monitoring, observability, logging and incident management
• Strong CI/CD automation and containerised workflows
• Cloud platforms experience (GCP preferred)
• AI fluency - using AI tools to automate workflows and improve productivity
• Collaborative mindset with mentoring engineers and raising technical bar

Responsabilités

• Design, build and operate highly reliable infrastructure that scales with global growth.
• Define and own SLOs, SLAs and error budgets with engineering teams to improve reliability.
• Evolve observability, incident response and on-call practices to minimise downtime.
• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows and developer experience.
• Identify reliability bottlenecks and automate toil via AI.
• Build internal tooling and AI-powered workflows for faster engineering.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives spanning platform, infrastructure and product engineering.
• Champion engineering best practices across reliability, scalability, security and performance.
