Job summary

Blinq is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to own systems, pipelines and tooling across iOS, Android, and TypeScript backends on Google Cloud. You will collaborate with SRE for reliable observability, reduce CI/CD friction, and build internal tools enabling rapid development with AI-assisted workflows.

Responsibilities include improving observability, automating testing with QA, and delivering secure, scalable environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in platform, DevOps or SRE roles.
• Concrete examples of faster/reliable CI/CD pipelines (mobile a plus).
• Experience with episodic environments and end-to-end test automation.
• Good working knowledge of observability (RUM/APM/metrics/logs).
• Security-conscious by design in pipelines and environments.
• AI fluency and experience with AI tools in development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop self-serve observability patterns and tooling across services and apps.
• Improve CI/CD speed and reliability for web, backend, iOS and Android builds.
• Spin up isolated environments for work in progress and automate sharing.
• Collaborate with QA to integrate automated testing into developer workflow.
• Own local and cloud dev environments and seed data for day-one productivity.
