Job summary

Blinq is seeking an Analytics Engineer to turn data into trusted insights across Product, Growth, Revenue and Operations. This hybrid role is based in Melbourne or Sydney, combining data engineering with analytics to empower teams with reliable numbers.

You will build scalable ELT pipelines, define metrics, and develop dashboards to drive decisions and experimentation across the business.

Qualifications

3+ years in analytics engineering, data analytics, BI or data engineering in SaaS.
Proven ability to define trusted metrics and build dashboards.
Strong ownership mindset and ability to adapt to shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

Own and evolve analytics layer with clean, reusable data models.
Partner with Product, Growth, Revenue, Finance, and Engineering to define metrics.
Build ELT workflows using SQL, dbt, and cloud data tools.
Define canonical metrics and semantic models for consistent reporting.
Develop high-quality dashboards and self-serve reporting.
Support product analytics, funnels, cohorts, retention, monetisation and A/B testing.
Improve data quality through testing, lineage, monitoring and ownership.
Investigate complex questions and translate insights into recommendations.
Improve instrumentation and data reliability across source systems.
Raise analytics standards as the company scales.
