Job summary

DATLAS is seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior Site Foreman / Site Engineer to join the project team delivering a complex high-end residential development at 42 North Steyne, Manly. This blended site delivery role combines practical construction knowledge with technical and administrative capability to manage drawings, RFIs, quality documentation and site records.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Foreman/Site Foreman/Site Supervisor or similar role.
• Experience delivering complex multi-storey residential, commercial or mixed-use projects.
• Strong practical knowledge of construction methodology, sequencing and trade coordination.
• Experience reading and interrogating architectural, structural, services and shop drawings.
• Experience preparing RFIs, ITPs, quality records and site documentation.
• Competence with Procore or comparable construction management software.
• Strong working knowledge of WHS requirements, SWMS and high-risk construction activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, subcontractors, trades and labor.
• Plan and sequence works to maintain continuous workflow and achieve the construction program.
• Prepare and maintain short-term look-ahead programs and report progress against the master program.
• Coordinate deliveries, materials, plant and labor requirements in advance.
• Identify site constraints, trade clashes and construction issues before they affect program or cost.
• Provide clear direction to subcontractors and hold them accountable for program, workmanship, safety and site standards.
• Read and interpret architectural, structural, services and shop drawings.
• Prepare and issue RFIs and follow responses through to close-out.
• Inspect works throughout construction and ensure they comply with approved drawings, specifications and DATLAS quality requirements.
• Enforce WHS legislation, project safety requirements and DATLAS procedures.

DATLAS is seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior Site Foreman / Site Engineer to join the project team delivering a complex high-end residential development at 42 North Steyne, Manly. This is a blended site delivery role for someone who combines strong practical construction knowledge with the technical and administrative capability required to manage drawings, RFIs, quality documentation and site records. Reporting to the Site Manager and Project Manager, you will take ownership of daily trade coordination, construction sequencing, quality, safety and the technical delivery of allocated works. You will work closely with the wider project team and provide practical guidance to junior team members.

About you

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Foreman, Site Foreman, Site Supervisor, Site Engineer or similar role
• Experience delivering complex multi-storey residential, commercial or mixed-use projects
• Strong practical knowledge of construction methodology, sequencing and trade coordination
• Experience across structure, services coordination, high-end finishes and defects
• The ability to read and interrogate architectural, structural, services and shop drawings
• Experience preparing RFIs, ITPs, quality records and site documentation
• Competence with Procore or comparable construction management software
• Strong working knowledge of WHS requirements, SWMS and high-risk construction activities
• Current White Card
