Job summary

Profectus is seeking experienced Senior ServiceNow Developers to support a government agency in Canberra, delivering and improving ServiceNow capability. You will lead design and build activities, working with business owners and technical teams to turn requirements into governed, scalable solutions.

The role covers configuration, integration, automation and reporting across the platform, with emphasis on extending governance, risk and compliance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience developing, configuring and maintaining ServiceNow applications and integrations following recognised standards and best practice.
• Holds a ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification and multiple Implementation Specialist certifications.
• Experience delivering ServiceNow outcomes in large, complex organisations and regulated environments.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, configuration, implementation and optimisation of ServiceNow solutions across the platform.
• Develop workflows, data models, integrations, dashboards, reporting and automation to meet business outcomes.
• Contribute to design and rollout of IRM product aligned to governance, risk, compliance and assurance objectives.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and define target operating models.
• Provide technical leadership and best-practice guidance, emphasising out-of-the-box solutions.
• Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other agency systems.
• Produce design documents, operating procedures and knowledge transfer materials.
• Apply development standards including code review, testing and release management.
• Support transition to internal agency support teams and troubleshoot complex issues.

Job description

Profectus is seeking experienced Senior ServiceNow Developers to support the delivery and ongoing improvement of ServiceNow capability within an Australian Government agency. You will lead design and build activity across the platform, working directly with business owners and technical teams to turn requirements into working, well governed solutions. The work covers configuration, integration, automation and reporting across the platform, with a current focus on extending capability into governance, risk and compliance. You will also help lift platform standards, favouring out of the box functionality over customisation and documenting solutions so they can be supported long term.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end to end design, configuration, implementation and optimisation of ServiceNow solutions across the platform
• Develop workflows, data models, integrations, dashboards, reporting and automation that meet agreed business outcomes
• Contribute to the design and rollout of the ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) product, aligned to the agency's governance, risk, compliance and assurance objectives
• Engage with business stakeholders, process owners and technical teams to gather requirements and define target operating models
• Provide technical leadership and best practice advice, including guidance on adopting ServiceNow products out of the box
• Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other agency systems
• Produce and maintain solution design documents, operating procedures and knowledge transfer material
• Apply ServiceNow development standards, including code review, testing and release management practices
• Support transition and knowledge transfer to internal agency support teams
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform issues, working with vendors where required

Required Experience

• Demonstrated experience developing, configuring and maintaining ServiceNow applications and integrations using recognised standards and best practice
• Holds a ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification
• Holds one or more ServiceNow Mainline Certifications at Implementation Specialist level in IT Service Management, Customer Service Management, or Data Foundations (CMDB/SDM)
• Proven delivery of ServiceNow outcomes in large and complex organisations
• Experience working with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise that meets business needs
• Well developed communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information in plain English and influence decisions
• Experience producing solution documentation and supporting handover to internal support teams
• Ability to work independently and as part of a delivery team across distributed locations
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Risk and Compliance (CIS-RC), or an equivalent current ServiceNow IRM certification
• Experience leading the implementation and delivery of ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) solutions in large and complex organisations
• Experience delivering ServiceNow capability within Australian Government or similarly regulated environments
• Exposure to governance, risk, compliance and assurance processes and how they translate into platform design
• Experience with Agile delivery and CI/CD practices on the ServiceNow platform

Security Clearance Requirements

• Must be an Australian Citizen
• Must have a current AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance

Working Arrangements

• Hybrid, with a preference for candidates based in Canberra
• Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane based candidates will also be considered
