Job summary

Randstad, on behalf of a prominent Federal Government client in the disability sector, seeks an Assistant Director, Service Delivery (EL1) to lead safeguarding and operational advisory services. You will drive intake, prioritisation and workflow allocations to deliver timely, participant-centred outcomes.

You will oversee a high-performing team, navigate complex safeguarding matters, and report to senior management on risks and improvements. Australian citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex safeguarding or services teams.
• Ability to interpret governance, policy and legislative frameworks.
• Proven capability to coordinate intake, prioritisation and workflows.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and executive-level communication.
• Demonstrated use of data to drive service improvements.
• Knowledge of government decision-making processes and risk controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team responsible for safeguarding advice coordination and risk assessment.
• Provide strategic guidance on participant pathways and SAP CRM/PACE processes.
• Support business improvement in access, planning and stakeholder engagement.
• Oversee workload allocation, capacity planning and performance management.
• Deliver leadership on complex safeguarding matters and risk monitoring.
• Help develop operational guidance and governance to strengthen safeguarding capability.
