Job summary

SURTECO Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Representative to lead a small NSW team and drive revenue across cabinetmaking and joinery customers. Based in Arndell Park, you will manage key accounts, win new business and mentor three sales reps under the Managing Director.

You will develop territory plans, forecast accurately, and partner with production and service teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs, while maintaining high standards of commercial and customer care.

Qualifications

• 5+ years proven experience in sales, business development and account management.
• 5+ years’ experience in leadership including coaching and mentoring sales representatives.
• Strong communication, organisation skills and negotiation skills.

SURTECO Australia is looking for an experienced Senior Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team in Arndell Park, NSW.

Reporting to and supporting to the Managing Director, you will focus on maintaining and developing strong relationships with our existing customer base. You will also seek new opportunities and drive sales growth with cabinetmakers, joiners, and kitchen manufacturers. This role will oversee three sales representatives across NSW.

This is a senior sales representative role suited to an experienced sales professional who enjoys winning new business, managing key customers and leading a small team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow your customer base within a designated territory, driving sales, growth and strengthening key customer relationships
• Work closely with both Sales Representatives and our National Customer Service team to help support, develop, and grow your customer base
• Maintain accurate daily customer and sales information
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales budgets within your designated territory
• Identify, develop and secure new projects and business opportunities
• Provide customers with technical information on SURTECO’s full product range identifying and recommend solutions that meet their requirements
• Develop and implement a structured call cycle plan including face-to-face customer visits including local and country runs.
• Provide ongoing feedback to management on market conditions, customer needs and product requirements.
• Lead complex sales negotiations and commercial discussions through to successful outcomes.
• Accompany sales representatives on joint customer visits.
• Monitor team sales activity, performance and pipelines and progress against targets.
• Lead three sales representatives across NSW on day-to-day basis.
• Review and provide weekly sales forecast for NSW team.
• Assist in preparing annual sales budget for NSW.
• Develop strategic accountplans for keycustomers to maximiseretention, growth andcross-selling opportunities.

About You

• 5 + years proven experience in sales, business development and account management
• 5 + years’ experience in leadership including coaching and mentoring sales representatives.
• Be motivated and passionate about your role with a strong can-do attitude and will to succeed
• Be team player and can work autonomously and collaboratively across sales, customer service and production
• Ideally have prior industry and product knowledge within the cabinet making/ joiner industries
• Proficient in Microsoft excel with basic formula knowledge and ERP systems
• Strong communication, organisation skills and negotiation skills
• Strong leadership and relationship building capability and experience leading a small sales team
• Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving skills
