Job summary

CSK Services Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to drive HSE across our active civil, piling and earthworks projects in Sydney, with regular travel to regional NSW sites, including periods away from home.

You will lead site inspections, risk assessments and investigations, deliver inductions and toolbox talks, and maintain SWMS and safety records. ISO 45001/9001/14001 upkeep and client liaison are essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety required.
• Proven safety experience in civil construction (piling and earthworks preferred).
• Strong knowledge of NSW WHS Act & SafeWork NSW requirements.
• Construction Induction (White Card) and a current driver’s licence.
• Incident investigation experience (ICAM) advantageous.
• Experience with Tier 1 HSE systems desirable.
• Hands-on communicator who can lead safety with crews and clients.

We're looking for an experienced Safety Advisor to drive HSE across our active civil, piling and earthworks projects. This role is Sydney-based but requires regular travel to regional NSW project sites, including periods away from home. You'll need a current driver's licence and the flexibility to work across multiple locations.

The role

• Drive WHS compliance across active civil, piling and earthworks sites
• Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments and incident investigations
• Deliver site inductions, pre-starts and toolbox talks
• Prepare, review and maintain SWMS and site safety documentation
• Support incident response, notifiable-incident reporting and corrective actions in line with SafeWork NSW requirements
• Liaise with Tier 1 clients and site teams on HSE requirements and interface
• Help maintain our ISO 45001 / 9001 / 14001 management system and keep us audit-ready

About you

• Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety
• Proven safety experience in civil construction (piling and earthworks highly regarded)
• Strong working knowledge of the NSW WHS Act & Regulation and SafeWork NSW requirements
• Construction Induction (White Card) and a current driver's licence
• Incident investigation experience ICAM or similar an advantage
• Experience working under a Tier 1 principal contractor's HSE systems (desirable)
• A confident, hands-on communicator who can hold the line on safety and build trust with crews and clients
