As our project pipeline continues to expand, we're seeking an experienced Senior Safety Advisor to partner with operational leaders and drive safety excellence across major construction projects.
Reporting into the WHSE leadership team, you will play a key role in supporting project delivery teams across large-scale residential and mixed-use developments.
This is a highly visible site-based role where you'll work closely with Construction Managers, Project Managers, Site Managers and subcontractors to promote a proactive safety culture and ensure best-practice WHS outcomes.
Provide WHS leadership across major construction projects
Partner with project teams to drive safety performance and accountability
Conduct audits, inspections and assurance activities
Lead incident and near-miss investigations, including corrective actions
Support risk management, project planning and safe work practices
Analyse safety performance trends and identify improvement opportunities
Coach and mentor supervisors, subcontractors and site teams
Deliver safety training, initiatives and awareness programs
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of WHSE systems and procedures
Promote a culture of safety, quality and operational excellence
To be successful in this role, you will have:
5+ years' experience in a WHS/WHSE role within the construction industry
Experience working on large-scale residential, commercial or mixed-use developments
Strong knowledge of NSW WHS legislation and regulatory requirements
Proven ability to influence project teams and drive positive safety outcomes
Experience conducting investigations, audits and compliance activities
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
ICAM investigation experience highly regarded
Practical, solutions-focused approach to safety leadership
Work on landmark projects valued up to $450 million
Strong pipeline of major residential and mixed-use developments
