Job summary

Marsh is seeking a senior risk management professional to join its Sydney-based team in a hybrid role. You will manage major client portfolios, deliver tailored risk and insurance advice, and lead business development initiatives while mentoring a team of risk professionals.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to provide practical solutions and help Marsh strengthen its market presence through client and industry engagement.

Qualifications

• More than 10 years' experience in commercial insurance or risk management.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
• Strong knowledge of key insurance classes such as Industrial Special Risks and General Liability.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing and presentation skills with the ability to work confidently with senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with major clients across a complex portfolio.
• Assess client businesses, risk exposures, insurance needs and loss histories to inform suitable solutions.
• Lead business development activity and contribute to new business opportunities.
• Provide strategic risk advice to senior client stakeholders and support complex claims with claims specialists.
• Manage, coach and support a team of risk professionals.
• Maintain accurate client and compliance records, while staying across market and legislative changes.
