Job summary

Marsh is seeking a senior risk management professional to join its Sydney-based team in a hybrid role. You will manage major client portfolios, deliver tailored risk and insurance advice, and lead business development initiatives while mentoring a team of risk professionals.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to provide practical solutions and help Marsh strengthen its market presence through client and industry engagement.

Qualifications

• More than 10 years' experience in commercial insurance or risk management.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
• Strong knowledge of key insurance classes such as Industrial Special Risks and General Liability.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing and presentation skills with the ability to work confidently with senior executives.

Job description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Risk Management team at Marsh. This role will be based in Sydney. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

In this role, you will manage a portfolio of major clients and provide tailored risk and insurance advice that helps them understand and address their exposures. You will lead new business activity, support complex client matters, and work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver practical solutions. You will also mentor a team of risk professionals and contribute to Marsh's profile in the market through client and industry engagement.
