Job summary

Zip is seeking a Senior Risk and Compliance Manager in Sydney to partner with lines 2 and senior leaders. You will mature risk frameworks, oversee governance, and translate complex regulatory requirements into practical guidance for informed decision making.

The role spans enterprise risk, third party risk, and operational resilience. You’ll monitor risk indicators, drive reporting improvements, and guide teams on risk controls while embracing AI and new tools to enhance risk management across

Qualifications

Significant experience across enterprise risk, operational risk or compliance in regulated environments.
Strong knowledge of risk governance, committees and regulatory interactions.
Experience designing, implementing or operating risk management frameworks.
Knowledge of operational resilience, business continuity and crisis management.

Responsibilities

Support governance across risk and compliance forums with clear reporting.
Analyse incidents and trends to identify weaknesses and provide practical recommendations.
Evolve risk policies, frameworks and procedures with Line 2 oversight.
Strengthen artefacts and ensure frameworks and standards remain current.
Lead third party risk management and assess performance with remediation guidance.
Develop risk reporting and metrics for visibility of risk and compliance.
Translate evolving regulatory expectations into actionable steps for the business.
Support operational resilience through assessments and disruption planning.
Advise first line teams as a trusted risk partner and drive continuous improvement.
