Job summary

ASX in Sydney, Australia seeks a senior Risk & Compliance Manager to strengthen Line 1 risk maturity. You will coordinate risk assessments and control testing, lead remediation, and ensure regulatory obligations are embedded across the organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in a Line 1 risk function.
• Experience performing risk and compliance assessments, control testing & uplift, and incident & issue management.
• Strong understanding of risk and control frameworks in regulated environments.
• Strong analytical, documentation, writing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple pieces of work concurrently across initiatives.
• Ability to build strong internal relationships and collaborate across teams.
• Well-developed planning and prioritisation skills with timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support the Risk and Compliance Partner in maturing Line 1 risk and compliance capabilities.
• Lead risk identification, assessment, and profiling across listings and supervision.
• Coordinate control design, mapping, and testing activities.
• Drive remediation of control gaps with actionable improvements.
• Manage lifecycle of risk issues and remediation actions with root-cause analysis.
• Embed regulatory obligations across ASX Supervision with ownership and monitoring.
• Engage with Markets, Clearing & Settlement, Technology to align responsibilities.
• Support delivery of the Risk Transformation Program and maturity uplift.
• Ensure risk considerations are integrated into operational decisions and changes.
