Job summary

ASX Limited is seeking a Senior Risk & Compliance professional to lead enterprise risk initiatives, strengthen governance and drive a mature risk culture across the organisation. You will engage with leadership, optimise policies, and oversee regulatory remediation programs in a complex financial services environment.

The role requires extensive experience in risk management and compliance, excellent stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to influence change across multiple lines of defence.

Qualifications

• Must have a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. risk management, compliance, law, finance, economics, or a related field).
• 7+ years experience in risk management and/or regulatory compliance.
• Senior expertise in risk management concepts, frameworks, and tools.
• Experience engaging with and managing Division and Enterprise level committees, working groups and governance forums.
• Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate risk and compliance matters to positively influence risk culture and behaviours.
• Facilitation, influencing and negotiation skills, developed trusted and collaborative relationships.
• Experience improving Operational Risk environments and culture.

Responsibilities

• Turn strategy into clear, practical direction across the organisation.
• Assess risks across the business and identify better ways of working to improve outcomes.
• Support the development and maintenance of key risk and compliance policies and procedures.
• Perform analysis, develop insights to action and reporting on ERMF effectiveness.
• Support the implementation of the Compliance Management Framework from regulatory change to monitoring.
• Measure and monitor the Risk Appetite Statement and mitigating actions.
• Contribute to Board/Committee reporting with insights and recommendations.
