Job summary

The GPT Group is seeking a Senior Lease Administration Manager to lead our retail leasing team. You will oversee and optimise the management of retail leases, documents, and notices, reporting to the National Manager.

You will mentor a small team of lease administrators, coordinate with external solicitors, and drive policy improvements to mitigate risk and improve processes. Strong experience in retail lease administration, negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration with

• Significant experience in a comparable retail lease administration role.
• Experience negotiating retail leases and managing related transaction documents.
• Experience leading a team in lease administration.

Responsibilities

• Leading, mentoring and developing a team of lease administrators, providing guidance and training.
• Managing external solicitor turnaround times with amendment negotiations and timely reporting.
• Making decisions on intricate lease issues and developing solutions for escalated problems.
• Driving complex lease negotiations and finalising national precedents with core retail partners.
• Preparing lease-related documentation and assisting with collection of documents before tenants open for trade.
• Reviewing and updating Limits of Authority (LOA) and policies for compliance across retail business.
• collaborating with external solicitors on changes in retail legislation and updating templates.
• Monitoring and analyzing KPIs related to lease admin and providing insights to stakeholders.
• Overseeing project work and ensuring time-critical dates and conditions precedents are met.
