Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager to join our retail project team. You will lead pre-contract cost planning, budgeting, and cost control across multiple store projects for a national client.

You will collaborate with clients, project managers, contractors and consultants, deliver accurate reporting, and mentor junior staff while maintaining market knowledge and cost benchmarks. Previous experience with CostX and AIQS/RICS accreditation is preferred.

Formación

• Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, or a similar role.
• Experience in cost planning and estimating, contract administration, procurement and tendering, progress claim assessment, variation management, and final account negotiations.
• Experience managing relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Membership or accreditation with RICS and/or AIQS.
• Experience using CostX.
• Previous experience delivering retail, commercial, or multi-site programs of work.
• Exposure to national account or portfolio-based project delivery environments

Responsabilidades

• Lead pre-contract cost planning and estimating services during project design phases.
• Prepare, review and manage project budgets across multiple retail projects.
• Manage procurement and tender evaluation activities.
• Assess progress claims, contract variations, and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs and provide commercial advice to clients and project teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Woolworths project teams and key stakeholders.
• Support and mentor junior team members.
• Engage with local construction and property markets to maintain current market knowledge and cost benchmarks.
• Collaborate with cost management and project management teams across multiple locations.
• Deliver accurate reporting, forecasting, and commercial advice.
• Take ownership of project deliverables and manage projects independently
