Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager to join our retail project team. You will lead pre-contract cost planning, budgeting, and cost control across multiple store projects for a national client.

You will collaborate with clients, project managers, contractors and consultants, deliver accurate reporting, and mentor junior staff while maintaining market knowledge and cost benchmarks. Previous experience with CostX and AIQS/RICS accreditation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, or a similar role.
• Experience in cost planning and estimating, contract administration, procurement and tendering, progress claim assessment, variation management, and final account negotiations.
• Experience managing relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Membership or accreditation with RICS and/or AIQS.
• Experience using CostX.
• Previous experience delivering retail, commercial, or multi-site programs of work.
• Exposure to national account or portfolio-based project delivery environments

We are seeking an experienced SeniorCost Manager to join a high‑performing team delivering retail projects for a key national client. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of new store, renewal, and refurbishment projects, providing end‑to‑end cost management services from concept design through to final account settlement.

You will work closely with client stakeholders, project managers, contractors, and consultants to ensure successful project outcomes across multiple retail programs.
