Job summary

Turner & Townsend is recruiting an experienced cost management professional to deliver end-to-end cost planning and delivery on major retail projects in the Gold Coast for our Australian client.

You will lead pre-contract cost planning, assess progress claims and variations, engage with the local property market, and collaborate with cross-functional cost and project teams in Queensland to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Recognised degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar.
• Outgoing personality, client facing and the ability to work independently and take the lead.
• 3+ years post graduate experience.
• AIQS or RICS member or pathway to membership.
• Experience in CostX preferred.
• Experience across the life cycle of projects with experience in pre-contract, procurement, and post contract activities.

Responsibilities

• Pre contract cost planning services during design stages of projects
• Post contract progress claim and variation assessments
• Engage with the local property market to gain market knowledge for use in the delivery of our services
• Assist with the commission management of our commissions to assist in the successful delivery of our services
• Integrate with full cost management and project management teams in Queensland and support when required
• Work independently and take responsibility for deliverables
