Job summary

Australian Electoral Commission is seeking a Release Train Engineer (RTE) to support a complex, large-scale transformation program. The role spans policy, legislation, regulatory reform, and technology delivery to deliver operational capabilities aligned with government objectives.

The position requires 7+ years leading large government transformations, SAFe experience, and strong stakeholder engagement at executive levels.

Qualifications

7+ years leading large-scale government transformation programs.
Extensive experience operating in SAFe or comparable scaled agile delivery environments.
Proven experience in Business Design and Systems Implementation.
Experience within highly regulated government environments with governance and assurance requirements.
Strong stakeholder management at executive levels.
Experience facilitating Program Increment Planning and large-scale planning events.
Understanding of program and portfolio management disciplines.

Responsibilities

Lead large-scale government transformation programs with SAFe delivery.
Promote alignment, transparency and flow across multiple workstreams and releases.
Translate business design into operational and digital capabilities for regulatory objectives.
Promote governance and assurance across policy, legislation and technology delivery.
Facilitate Program Increment Planning and large-scale planning events.
