Job summary

Cue-X is seeking a Release Train Engineer for a Canberra-based government client. This contract starts ASAP and runs until 30 June 2027 with a possible 12‑month extension.

Australian citizens only due to client requirements, and a mid-level AGSVA security clearance is highly regarded.

The role focuses on leading large-scale government transformation programs in SAFe, strong stakeholder engagement at executive levels, and governance within a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years leading large-scale government transformation programs.
• Extensive experience in SAFe or comparable scaled agile delivery environments.
• Proven experience in Business Design and Systems Implementation.
• Experience working within highly regulated government environments, including governance and assurance requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management capabilities at executive and senior executive levels.
• Experience facilitating Program Increment Planning and large-scale planning events.
• Demonstrated understanding of program and portfolio management disciplines.
• Mid level active AGSVA clearance is highly regarded due to client work.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated experience (7+ years) leading large-scale government transformation programs.
• Extensive experience operating in SAFe or comparable scaled agile delivery environments.
• Proven experience in Business Design and Systems Implementation.
• Experience working within highly regulated government environments, including government governance and assurance requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management capabilities at executive and senior executive levels.
• Experience facilitating Program Increment Planning and large-scale planning events.
• Demonstrated understanding of program and portfolio management disciplines.
• Due to the nature of this clients work a Mid level active AGSVA clearance is highly regarded.
