The National Library of Australia is seeking an APS 6 Records Manager to support organisational reform within the Digital Branch. You will administer the Content Manager records system, provide expert guidance, and manage the full lifecycle of physical and digital records in line with approved authorities and laws.

You will operate with limited direction, driving compliance activities, delivering training and guidance to staff, and contributing to stronger governance across the Library.

Formación

• Mandatory – Qualifications in records management, or equivalent relevant experience, with a minimum of three years' experience in records management.
• Desirable – administration of the Content Manager system for at least one year.

Responsabilidades

• Administer the Library’s Content Manager records system, including managing user access and resolving issues.
• Provide expert records management advice and guidance to staff across the Library.
• Manage the full records lifecycle, including appraisal, sentencing and disposal in accordance with authorities and legislation.
• Lead or support records management compliance activities, including reporting and internal reviews.
• Identify opportunities to improve records management processes to strengthen governance.
