Job summary

Think Systems is seeking a senior systems engineer to support complex rail and major infrastructure programs. You will build a coherent system view, identify integration risks, and guide teams to resolve technical issues before they impact delivery.

Key duties include governing architectures, managing boundaries and interfaces, coordinating across contractors and design packages, and facilitating workshops to align requirements and designs. Travel across Australia is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires systems thinking mindset and ability to articulate trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Experience on large multi-package rail or infrastructure programs.
• Hands-on use of MBSE tools and methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and govern system architectures across programs.
• Identify interfaces and dependencies across contractors and design packages.
• Coordinate across disciplines to keep teams technically coherent.
• Facilitate workshops to resolve conflicting assumptions and designs.
• Support requirements traceability, verification, integration, and commissioning.
