SYSTRA is seeking a motivated Senior Consultant - Systems Engineering to join their Systems Engineering & Integration team in Melbourne, Australia. This role provides technical support and engineering expertise in modern railway technology, ensuring delivery of safe and reliable technical solutions.

Ideal candidates will have experience in systems engineering, particularly in the railway or similar industries, and a degree in Engineering. SYSTRA offers flexible arrangements and values diversity in their workforce.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in systems engineering within a consulting environment.
• Experience in the railway sector or similar regulated industries.
• Familiarity with V&V processes and safety assurance.
• A degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Chartered status (CPEng) or INCOSE certification is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Apply systems engineering processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Capture and maintain traceable requirements for rail systems.
• Support development of system architectures and functional requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces between subsystems.
• Contribute to Verification & Validation (V&V) activities.
• Assist in safety and reliability activities.
• Support project management tasks and track progress.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation.
• Contribute to tenders and bids with technical input.
• Engage in continuous professional development.
