Job summary

Sydney Trains is seeking an experienced Program Planning Manager to lead the planning, development and prioritisation of major infrastructure programs that support one of Australia’s largest transport networks.

You will shape a diverse civil portfolio and collaborate with Asset Management, Design, Engineering and Delivery teams to position programs for delivery, balancing safety with value and long-term network performance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience planning and/or managing complex capital works programs.
• Strong expertise across project lifecycle planning, scheduling, risk, resource and cost management.
• Proven leadership experience, including developing and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated success influencing and collaborating with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Experience working within safety-critical or high-risk operational environments.
• Sound commercial acumen and a strong focus on value, deliverability and outcomes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
