Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Program Manager (Temporary Opportunity - up to 24 months) to lead the delivery of a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects within the Sydney Road Network Maintenance program, delivering safe, reliable and resilient transport outcomes for the community.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in project management, civil engineering, construction, infrastructure or related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Proven experience managing multiple civil infrastructure projects or programs with interdependencies.
• Strong project planning, governance, risk management and delivery capability.
• Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, forecasts and financial performance.
• Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop practical and innovative solutions.
• Working knowledge of procurement, contract management, safety, quality and environmental requirements within a project environment.
• A collaborative and outcome-focused approach, with a commitment to integrity, accountability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects.
• Drive project delivery from planning through to completion.
• Manage and deliver multiple projects across a program of works.
• Develop works brief, project submissions and project documentation.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, contractors and partners.
• Oversee project budgets, forecasting and expenditure.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to a range of audiences.
• Ensure projects comply with quality, safety and environmental requirements.
