Job summary

Northrop Grumman Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Enablement Specialist to join our Quality & Mission Assurance team in Exmouth, WA. You will drive audits, investigations, testing and continuous improvement in a highly technical Defence environment, ensuring delivery requirements are met with collaboration across engineering and project teams.

Australian citizenship is required; NV1 clearance eligibility applies.

Qualifications

• Lead Auditor qualification required.
• Diploma or higher in Engineering, Quality, Systems, Maintenance, IT or related field.
• Experience auditing ISO9001 and/or AS9100 quality systems.
• Experience in Defence, aerospace, engineering or other regulated industries.
• Strong investigation, reporting and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality audits, surveillance activities and compliance reviews.
• Lead investigations into quality and technical issues.
• Perform acceptance testing, verification activities and inspections.
• Support continuous improvement and quality management systems.

We're seeking an experienced Senior Quality Enablement Specialist to join our Quality & Mission Assurance team supporting a major Defence capability program in Exmouth, Western Australia. In this role, you'll work alongside engineering, project and operational teams to ensure quality outcomes, drive compliance, conduct audits and investigations, and support continuous improvement across a highly technical environment.

What You'll Be Doing

About You

• Lead Auditor qualification.
• Diploma or higher qualification in Engineering, Quality, Systems, Maintenance, IT or a related technical discipline.
• Strong experience conducting ISO9001 and/or AS9100 quality audits.
• Experience within Defence, aerospace, engineering, manufacturing or other highly regulated industries.
• Excellent investigation, reporting and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
