Job summary

Northrop Grumman Australia is seeking an Operator Maintainer for Exmouth, WA. You will support operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure in a secure, remote environment, with a seven-on, seven-off roster and relocation allowance.

Ideal candidates are electricians or mechanical trades with experience in preventative and corrective maintenance, fault finding, and strong teamwork. The role offers career growth within a global defence technology leader in a coastal setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely maintenance.

About the Role

As an Operator Maintainer, you'll support the operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure and facilities, performing preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance across mechanical, electrical and refrigeration systems.

Working within a close-knit team, you'll be responsible for:

• Preventative and corrective maintenance activities
• HVAC and refrigeration system maintenance
• Fault finding and troubleshooting
• Supporting operational readiness and facility performance
• Coordinating with contractors and suppliers
• Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and compliance
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

The role requires someone who can work autonomously, solve problems independently and thrive in a remote operational environment.
