Job summary

Aged & Community Services Australia in Melbourne seeks a senior leader to drive operational performance across residential aged care. You will lead an experienced management team and work with the Executive Team to influence quality, continuous improvement and future service direction.

Key responsibilities include overseeing clinical quality, regulatory compliance, workforce performance and financial stewardship, plus building strong relationships with staff, residents and families.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience within residential aged care.
• Strong experience across operations, clinical quality, compliance and risk.
• A thorough knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory environment.
• Experience with accreditation, workforce and financial performance.
• Demonstrated success leading and developing experienced managers.
• Strong executive-level communication, reporting and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational performance, clinical quality and care outcomes.
• Lead and support experienced clinical and operational managers.
• Monitor clinical risk, incidents, complaints and quality indicators.
• Maintain strong systems across accreditation, audits and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee workforce performance, staffing models and care minute requirements.
• Support budgets and overall financial performance.
• Drive continuous improvement and service performance.
• Build strong relationships with staff, residents, families and key stakeholders.
