Job summary

Stone Real Estate Lindfield is seeking a Senior Property Manager to join our growing team on Sydney's Upper North Shore. You will take ownership of a quality property portfolio, delivering exceptional service to landlords and tenants, and mentoring junior staff with dedicated leasing and support resources.

Key requirements include 5+ years in residential property management, NSW Class 2 Licence or Certificate of Registration, strong knowledge of tenancy legislation, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in residential property management.
• Current NSW Class 2 Real Estate Licence or Certificate of Registration.
• Strong knowledge of NSW residential tenancy legislation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional time management and organisational abilities.
• Proactive, professional and client-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
• Experience using PropertyMe (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage an established property portfolio from end to end.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants.
• Conduct outgoing inspections and prepare detailed reports.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance, including obtaining quotes and owner approvals.
• Manage lease renewals, rent reviews and tenancy agreements.
• Monitor rental arrears and issue notices in accordance with legislation.
• Handle tenancy disputes, breach notices and NCAT applications where required.
• Attend NCAT hearings when necessary.
• Liaise with contractors, tradespeople and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with current NSW residential tenancy legislation.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities.
• Mentor and support junior team members where required.
• Maintain accurate records using PropertyMe and associated systems.

About the Role

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in residential property management.
• A current NSW Class 2 Real Estate Licence or Certificate of Registration.
• Strong knowledge of NSW residential tenancy legislation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional time management and organisational abilities.High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, professional and client-focused approach.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
