Qualifications

  • 1+ year experience in residential property management
  • Current NSW Certificate of Registration or Class 2 Real Estate License
  • Current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Strong understanding of NSW tenancy legislation and industry best practices
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors
  • Highly organised with excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while delivering outstanding customer service
  • Proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in managing a residential property portfolio with a focus on service excellence and retention
  • Building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with landlords, tenants, and key stakeholders
  • Coordination of all aspects of property management including leasing, renewals, routine inspections, maintenance, and arrears control
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to improve asset performance and reduce vacancy periods
  • Overseeing maintenance requests and liaise with trades to ensure timely resolution
  • Conducting property inspections and provide detailed, accurate reporting to landlords
  • Managing rent reviews, lease renewals, and tenancy agreements
  • Responding to enquiries in a timely and professional manner, always ensuring a high standard of communication
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes

Job description

You will be involved in the end-to-end management of a residential portfolio in an office located almost on the waterfront of Sydney Harbour. You will play a key role in delivering a seamless experience for both landlords and tenants — ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard and financial returns are optimised.

Key responsibilities

About you
  • Proven experience in residential property management, with a minimum of 1 year in a similar role
  • Current NSW Certificate of Registration or Class 2 Real Estate License
  • Current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Strong understanding of NSW tenancy legislation and industry best practices
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while delivering outstanding customer service
