Job summary

Dapcor Building Services seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead remedial construction projects for residential strata and commercial properties. Based in Botany, you will drive projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and budget adherence while reporting to senior management.

The role requires strong contracts knowledge, stakeholder management, and a proactive focus on quality and client satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within remedial construction or a similar sector.
• Sound understanding of AS 4000/AS 4902 contracts, including variations, EOTs and progress claims.
• Experience dealing with owners' corporations, strata managers and consulting engineers.
• Working knowledge of NSW Design and Building Practitioners Act and Home Building Act; fire safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple remedial projects from start to finish.
• Oversee project budgets, costs, variations and progress claims.
• Coordinate clients, consultants, subcontractors and site teams.
• Manage project programmes, risks and contractual requirements.
• Lead and support Project Managers and site teams.
• Provide regular project updates and reporting to senior management.
• Ensure WHS, quality and compliance requirements are met.
• Occasionally assist estimators with tender reviews and methodology on upcoming projects.

Dapcor Building Services is a family-owned remedial construction company established in 1974 and based in Botany. We specialise in waterproofing, facade remediation, cladding replacement, fire upgrades and concrete and structural repairs across residental strata and commercial buildings. You will be responsible for managing projects from commencement through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within remedial construction or a similar sector
• Sound understanding of construction contracts (AS 4000/AS 4902 or similar), including variations, EOTs and progress claims
• Experience dealing with owners' corporations, strata managers, building managers and consulting engineers
• Working knowledge of the NSW Design and Building Practitioners Act, Home Building Act and fire safety compliance requirements
• Excellent communication, leadership and negotiation skills
• The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
• A strong focus on safety, quality and client satisfaction
• Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Building, Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline are preferred
• Current White Card and driver’s licence
