Job summary

Amida Recruit AU is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead multiple construction projects across education, health, hospitality and commercial sectors.

You will oversee projects from front-end advisory through to delivery, manage client stakeholders and contracts, and mentor a team of project managers in a growing boutique consultancy with a strong pipeline and clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or similar.
• 5+ years’ experience in a client side PM role; head contractor experience ideal.
• End-to-end project management skills from concept to completion.
• Contract administration experience.
• Exposure to program management and critical path timelines.
• Experience across building projects; commercial fit-out advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• MS Office Suite including MS Project; familiarity with GC21, AS4000, AS4122, AS4902.

Responsibilities

• Procurement of design consultants, construction contractors and other specialist consultants.
• Contracts administration and claims management.
• Management of statutory approval and design development processes.
• Exposure to various construction procurement models and contract types.
• Issues, risk and dispute management.
• Delivery of project management services to your client to agreed scope, schedule and fee budget.
• Scope development and preparing tender submissions.
• Develop and maintain strong network and deliver outstanding services.
• Managing regulatory approvals; design coordination.
• Stakeholder management and liaison.
• Working in a live environment with buildings open during construction.
• Health and safety; program management; construction management of project delivery.
• Management of site variations and design changes; cost management.
