Job summary

Amida Group is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead health infrastructure projects from design through delivery in their Sydney office. The role spans design, preconstruction, approvals, procurement, and construction delivery, with projects up to $30m.

Ideal candidates bring 8–15 years of project leadership experience across health, education, or government sectors, with client-side, main contractor, or consulting engineering backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years+ experience within the construction industry.
• Sound understanding of overall construction programmes and plans.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level interpersonal skills.
• Experience working within a team environment.
• Ability to build rapport at all levels.
• Advanced computer literacy.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel.
• Previous client side project management experience is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Client management and consultation.
• Project Planning/Feasibility studies.
• Design Management.
• Liaison with authorities for DA submission.
• Design Management and Value Engineering.
• Procurement of construction services.
• Cost control and cost reporting and superintendent of construction delivery.
• Commissioning and post contract duties for handover.
• Oversight and delivery of the project.
