Job summary

Amida Limited in Sydney is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their forward-thinking, professional and dynamic project management consultancy in their Sydney office.

Projects up to $30m are managed across health, education and government sectors; candidates with health Infrastructure client experience are preferred. 8 to 15+ years in construction and strong design, procurement and cost control skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Construction, Project Management, Engineering, Architecture or similar
• Minimum 7 years+ experience within the construction industry
• Advanced computer literacy and strong Excel skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team and build rapport at all levels

Responsibilities

• Client management and consultation
• Project Planning/Feasibility studies
• Design Management
• Liaison with authorities for DA submission
• Risk Management
• Value Engineering Design Management and Value Engineering
• Procurement of construction services
• Cost control and reporting and superintendent of construction delivery
• Commissioning and post contract duties for handover
• Oversight and delivery of the project
