Senior Project Engineer - Tier 2 Builder | Sydney CBD

Join one of Sydney’s leading Tier 2 builders, with a strong reputation for delivering complex, high-quality projects across residential, commercial, education and government sectors.

With a significant pipeline of major projects across NSW, we are looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join the team on a major $300M+ development in Sydney CBD.

The Role

Working closely with the Project Manager and Site Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of a large-scale, complex project. You will take ownership of key packages, drive programme and design outcomes, coordinate subcontractors and consultants, and help ensure the project is delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of key structure, services and finishes packages
• Drive programme, subcontractor coordination and design resolution
• Manage procurement, RFIs, design coordination and project reporting
• Work closely with the wider project team across safety, quality, programme and cost
• Mentor Project and Site Engineers and contribute to a high-performing project team

Required Experience

• Senior Project Engineer experience with a Tier 1 or leading Tier 2 builder
• Experience delivering major projects valued at $100M+
• Strong technical capability across structure, services and finishes
• Experience managing complex programme, staging and buildability challenges
• Strong Project Engineers with 5+ years' experience on major projects who are ready to step up will also be considered
