Job summary

Redpath Partners is seeking a Senior Development Manager to lead and deliver a diverse Sydney development portfolio, spanning residential, mixed-use and hospitality sectors. You will own project programmes, manage consultants, and coordinate with internal teams to drive delivery from planning through to completion.

The role requires deep development experience, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to navigate approvals, budgets and reporting across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience within development management.
• Strong understanding of planning, design, approvals and delivery process.
• Proven experience managing consultants and multiple project workstreams through to key milestones.
• Strong commercial and financial understanding, with experience across feasibility, budgets and project reporting.
• Confident stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders.
• A proactive and commercially minded development professional who enjoys taking ownership and driving projects forward.

Responsibilities

• Lead the management of development projects from planning and approvals through design development and delivery.
• Take ownership of project programmes, budgets, reporting and key development milestones.
• Coordinate architects, planners, engineers and specialist consultants throughout the development process.
• Manage planning approvals, conditions, authority requirements and project documentation.
• Lead design development, value management and consultant coordination to achieve project objectives.
• Work closely with construction and delivery teams to ensure projects progress effectively into delivery.
• Prepare feasibility updates, briefing papers, reports and presentations for senior leadership.
• Manage relationships with government authorities, consultants, contractors and other key project stakeholders.
• Work closely with internal commercial, finance, sales and delivery teams to drive project outcomes.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Development Manager to join a growing Sydney development business with an impressive pipeline of projects across some of the city's key growth sectors.

The business is active across build-to-sell residential, build-to-rent, hotels and mixed-use developments, with a number of projects progressing across Sydney. Working closely with an experienced leadership team, the Senior Development Manager will take ownership of key projects and play a hands-on role across planning, design, approvals, commercial management and delivery.

About You

• 8+ years' experience within development management, ideally across residential, mixed-use or another relevant asset class.
• Strong understanding of the planning, design, approvals and delivery process.
