Job summary

CGC Recruitment partners with a well-regarded design and construct contractor to appoint a Project Engineer to join its WA project delivery team. You will support delivery of commercial and industrial projects valued between $20m and $90m and coordinate technical documentation.

Apply your subcontractor coordination, design package management and strong communication skills while working with senior project engineers and managers to monitor milestones and quality on exciting WA projects.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Engineer with a commercial or industrial head contractor.
• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong technical understanding of commercial construction.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing technical packages.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of commercial and industrial projects valued between $20m and $90m.
• Coordinate technical documentation, drawings and design requirements.
• Assist with subcontractor procurement, tender assessments and package management.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and internal construction teams.
• Monitor programme, quality and project delivery milestones.
• Work alongside experienced Project Managers and Senior Project Engineers.
