Commercial Marine Group (CMG) in Fremantle, WA, seeks a proactive Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer to own budgets, forecasts, variations and claims on complex marine projects. You will lead project delivery at the center of client, contract, engineering and field execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ project engineering or project-management experience in civil, structural, marine, remediation, resources, industrial or comparable contractor environments
• Ability to execute Project Management Plans, Compliance documents and Quality assurance and Controls (ITP's etc)
• Hands‑on attitude and willingness to assist with practical tasks when required
• Ability to contribute positively to team culture, morale and shared accountability
• Strong commercial awareness and experience managing project budgets and forecasts
• Cost-to-complete forecasting, variations, claims and change-management capability
• Practical construction/site-delivery knowledge and professional client communication
• Construction White Card, MSIC or ability to obtain, current Australian driver’s licence and willingness to travel within WA.

Responsibilities

• Commercial and project performance - budgets, revenue, expenditure, productivity and forecast gross margin and commercial risk.
• Project management and delivery - coordinate resources, monitor progress, client communication and forecasts
• Engineering-led marine solutions - review underwater inspection findings, resolve technical issues
