Job summary

McMahon Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Marine for our Engineering & Projects team in Dry Creek, SA. You will oversee marine-related projects from planning through handover, coordinating teams, budgets and client relationships to ensure safe, on-time delivery within budget.

The role requires at least 5 years of project management experience across construction, infrastructure or marine projects, with strong planning, procurement and contract management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' relevant project management or construction delivery experience.
• Experience managing marine, infrastructure or large construction projects.
• Strong planning, scheduling and construction methodologies knowledge.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, procurement and subcontractors.
• Sound commercial awareness and contract administration skills.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate competing priorities.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage marine-related projects from planning to handover.
• Lead and coordinate project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage project programmes, schedules and resources to hit milestones.
• Monitor budgets, costs, forecasts and overall commercial performance.
• Manage procurement, contracts, variations and reporting.
• Review drawings and documentation to ensure construction requirements.
• Identify risks and implement practical solutions.
• Coordinate plant, equipment, labour and materials for delivery.
• Build strong client and subcontractor relationships.
