DRA Global Limited is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to provide technical leadership across all phases of mining and minerals projects in Australia. You will guide design, analysis, and construction support while ensuring compliance with standards and client specifications through proactive collaboration with project managers and teams.

The role emphasizes mentoring, strong communication, and a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in engineering project delivery with technical leadership.
• Knowledge of engineering principles, processes and technologies for planning, design and operations.
• Experience mentoring and coaching team members.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance across all phases of project delivery (design, analysis, implementation, construction support).
• Develop innovative engineering solutions to address project challenges.
• Ensure designs comply with regulatory requirements, standards and client specs.
• Collaborate with project managers to deliver projects within scope, schedule, budget and quality.
• Oversee engineering activities, monitor performance and resolve technical issues.
• Conduct technical reviews and audits to ensure best practices and standards.
• Promote safety, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across projects.
