Lead and manage the safe, efficient, and effective planning, execution, and delivery of projects and programs, ensuring completion within agreed timeframes, budgets, quality standards, and scope requirements while meeting client and customer expectations
Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, and technical documentation, including project briefs, cost estimates, specifications, and contract documentation
Coordinate and oversee project delivery teams, contractors, consultants, and service providers, ensuring effective collaboration and high-quality outcomes throughout the project lifecycle
Lead the development and execution of WHS and environmental strategies, establishing robust governance, reporting, and risk management practices that drive safe project outcomes and environmental stewardship
Monitor project performance, risks, resources, financials, and compliance requirements, maintaining strong standards of safety, environmental management, and quality assurance
Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships, providing technical advice and contributing to road safety, asset management, network efficiency, and a customer-focused teamculture.
Office location: Hay, NSW, requirement to live within a reasonable distance of Hay. Relocation expenses may be considered pending approvals.
Proven experience in managing the planning with experience delivering road, infrastructure, construction, or maintenance projects.
You have strong technical knowledge, communicate effectively, and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
You work well with field teams, contractors, service providers, and stakeholders, and are committed to delivering safe, practical, and cost-effective outcomes for customers and communities.
A four-year Civil Engineering or similar degree or equivalent recognised overseas qualification
Knowledge of road and traffic infrastructure materials, equipment, construction methods, and maintenance practices
Experience working with or managing direct-control workforces in the delivery of construction and maintenance activities
Understanding of tendering, contract administration, procurement processes, and contractor management
A current Australian driver’s licence and willingness to travel and work outside normal working hours when required
