In this role, you'll:

Work within our Project Services Team within the Regional Road Network Maintenance Branch of the Road Maintenance & Resilience division at Transport for NSW, with a focus on project development, delivery and contract management for key Asset related projects such as road, bridge and/or traffic infrastructure construction or maintenance projects. In this role there will be a particular emphasis on Bridge Maintenance and construction projects.

This role will see you develop and manage the implementation of transport infrastructure or maintenance projects to achieve Transport for NSW and Government road safety, asset management and network efficiency objectives

You will develop projects that includes taking a project from a project brief through to having it ready to implement. This will see you working proactively to identify and manage risks that could impact delivery and sorting out community engagements where required.

In addition to this, you will be running stand-alone Contracts to make sure projects are safely delivered.

You will have a four-year engineering degree (Civil or Structural) from an Australian University or equivalent overseas qualifications or a related discipline and demonstratable relevant experience will enable you to understand and deliver multiple priorities for Transport for NSW and government agreed on standards and timeframes.

You’re recognised for your strengths in stakeholder engagement and people management. This will enable you to manage a small team of 1 to 2 technical people and successfully engage across various stakeholder groups to project manage multi-disciplinary teams.

Possess a current and valid Australian motor vehicle driver license and be willing to work outside regular working hours and travel on occasion

This is an Award Transport Engineering Level 3 Permanent Full-Time role, based in Wagga Wagga. The work arrangements will see you mostly in the office with some times in the field, subject to project requirements, with flexibility through our hybrid working policy
