Job summary

Bechtel is delivering the EPC scope for the Eva Copper Process Plant and Non-Process Infrastructure in Queensland, Australia. The role focuses on non-routine cost engineering, planning, and scheduling, building strong stakeholder relationships and delivering integrated project execution.

The position supports a FIFO arrangement to Cloncurry, QLD, on a 2:1 roster, with a portion of telework in line with the global policy and in-person attendance as required by project leadership.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 10–13 years of relevant experience or 14–17 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience across civil, SMP, E&I tasks with interfaces to operations, maintenance, and owners team interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling and planning inputs from all functions to produce a robust, achievable schedule.
• Set up and maintain weekly quantity tracking metrics to ensure alignment with the project schedule.
• Integrate interdisciplinary schedule requirements and constraints for assigned disciplines.
• Determine activity durations and constraints provided by contractors.
• Develop commodity release and installation curves as applicable.
• Review schedule data and complete work logics across project aspects.
• Identify critical path and near-term critical path items.
• Develop and monitor 3-week lookahead schedules and monthly/quarterly reports.
• Monitor schedule deviation and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and control Schedule Impact Reports (CIAR).
• Conduct personnel performance reviews and participate in hiring decisions.
