Job summary

Bechtel is delivering EPC for the Eva Copper Process Plant and Non-Process Infrastructure in Queensland, Australia. The role provides project field engineering support, including work planning, material management, quantity validation, safety and quality control, and coordination of system turnover.

Your work ensures field activities are safe, complete, and conform to project requirements, supporting a major greenfield mining project near Cloncurry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in a relevant field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience, or 6–9 years of equivalent work experience.
• Strong knowledge of project engineering processes and cross-discipline interaction.
• Experience with structural packages and rigging practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction drawings and planning interfaces.
• Manage material requisitions and quantity takeoffs.
• Verify quantities in tracking systems and databases.
• Ensure safety and quality control in field operations.
• Review inspection plans and coordinate subcontractor submittals.
