Job summary

RAATSIC seeks a Program Manager – Strengthening Family Connections to oversee a portfolio of family support programs serving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across remote regions of Queensland. This senior role focuses on quality, compliance, and performance while leading a diverse team of practitioners.

The role requires strong leadership, budget oversight, and capability to report to government and funding bodies, with a commitment to trauma-informed and culturally safe

Qualifications

• Experience in social services with direct DFV exposure.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practice with diverse communities.
• Current C Class Queensland Driver's Licence.
• Working knowledge of community-controlled service delivery.
• Will need to obtain Working with Children Check (Blue Card) before employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead senior leadership and supervise a diverse multidisciplinary team across multiple programs/sites.
• Oversee state government and funding body reporting with high accuracy and contractual compliance.
• Plan, monitor, and evaluate service delivery, budgets, and program performance.
• Maintain stakeholder engagement with government agencies, funders, communities and Elders.
• Support remote site operations and ensure culturally safe, reflective practice across settings.
