Opteon Property Group Pty Ltd is seeking a senior Product Engineer within the ANZ Engineering team. You will lead complex product initiatives with autonomy, mentor engineers, and shape the roadmap with rapid, evidence-based learning.

You'll own outcomes end to end, design across legacy and modern platforms, and champion AI-assisted development. Flexible work options include office, home, or a mix by arrangement.

Qualifications

• 6+ years delivering software professionally at scale.
• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Australian citizenship and NV1 security clearance eligibility.
• Strong C# skills across .NET Framework and .NET Core / .NET 8+, plus ASP.NET knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI coding assistants and agentic AI concepts.
• Experience with AWS services and modern frontend frameworks (Vue or similar).
• Experience designing relational databases and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.

Responsabilités

• Own outcomes end to end for complex product problems with measurable business results.
• Build robust solutions across legacy and modern platforms with CI/CD, testing, and monitoring.
• Drive discovery using research, prototypes, and spikes to inform go/no-go decisions.
• Embed product thinking with hypothesis-driven delivery and outcome metrics.
• Coach Product Engineers on discovery, operating model, and technical craft; share patterns.
