Job summary

Gough Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead landmark Class 2 residential and mixed-use developments in Sydney. You will oversee projects from planning through practical completion, driving programme, budget, quality and stakeholder outcomes.

The role requires a degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Property and 10+ years' experience delivering large-scale developments in NSW, including Class 2 apartments.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Construction Management, Engineering, Property or a related discipline
• 10+ years' experience delivering large-scale residential, mixed-use or commercial developments in NSW
• Proven experience delivering Class 2 apartment developments
• Track record delivering projects valued between $100M and $500M+
• Strong understanding of development, design, procurement and construction processes
• Experience working for a developer, developer-builder or Tier 1/Tier 2 contractor
• Excellent commercial management and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong knowledge of NSW planning controls, approvals and Class 2 compliance requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of major Class 2 residential and mixed-use developments valued between $100M and $500M+
• Manage projects through design, procurement, construction and handover
• Drive programme, budget, quality and commercial outcomes
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, certifiers and authority stakeholders
• Lead tendering, procurement and contractor engagement processes
• Oversee project reporting and risk management activities
• Ensure compliance with NSW Class 2 legislation, DBP requirements and regulatory obligations
• Drive quality assurance, defect prevention and governance processes
• Mentor project delivery team members and promote a high-performance culture

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a leading integrated property developer with a strong pipeline of Class 2 residential, mixed-use and urban regeneration projects across Sydney.

This role will suit a commercially astute project leader with extensive experience delivering major Class 2 developments within NSW. Working closely with development, design and delivery teams, you will oversee projects from planning and design through to practical completion while ensuring programme, budget, quality and stakeholder objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of major Class 2 residential and mixed-use developments valued between $100M and $500M+
• Manage projects through design, procurement, construction and handover
