Job summary

Firmus Technologies in Melbourne is hiring a Senior Platform Reliability Engineer, Fabric and Interconnect. You will own the reliability of GPU interconnects, high-performance networks, and DPU-based hosting across AI FactoryOS and Firmus AI Cloud.

This hands-on role emphasizes automation, incident management, and vendor coordination to meet strict SLAs while driving repeatable improvements in a sustainable AI infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience operating production infrastructure in a 24/7 environment with SRE practices.
• Strong Linux systems administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with scale-out storage and high-performance networks.

Responsibilities

• Triage, diagnose and resolve incidents across the stack including Kubernetes, storage, networking and Linux hosts.
• Operate multi-tenant control/management plane with proper access controls.
• Manage GPU compute fleet health, firmware and driver baselines.
• Reduce toil via automation and runbooks; contribute to automation tooling.
• Use observability stack to track SLIs, dashboards and alerting.
