Job summary

Liberty Industrial in Perth, WA, is seeking an experienced Planner to join our Project Controls function. You will develop and maintain complex Primavera P6 schedules, manage baselines and provide insights to support project decisions across Western Australia.

You will work with Project Managers, Engineers and Commercial teams to optimise resources, assess risks and drive schedule recovery where needed, with a focus on safety and quality in demolition, decommissioning and remediation projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in Planner/Project Controls within large projects.
• Advanced Primavera P6 capability for schedules and baselines.
• Strong forecasting, progress measurement and variance analysis.
• Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects.
• Proficiency in Excel and data interpretation.
• Ability to translate schedule data into practical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Establish baselines, programmes and forecasting schedules.
• Analyze critical path, schedule variance and trends to identify risks.
• Monitor performance against baselines and provide insights to teams.
• Support forecasting, resource planning and optimisation across projects.
• Develop schedule recovery strategies and prepare controls reporting.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers and commercial teams to reflect execution.
• Challenge assumptions and identify schedule/delivery risks.
• Assist with delay analysis and extension of time assessments.
• Contribute to tender planning and future schedule prep.
