Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking a Senior Payroll Coordinator to join our head office in Victoria Park (WA) and support end-to-end payroll processing for Australian and international staff. You’ll partner with HR and IR teams to ensure accurate, on-time payments and maintain strict compliance with tax, superannuation and payroll laws.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables and data analysis.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation and compliance requirements.
• Experience interpreting multiple EBAs and complex pay conditions.
• Proven ability to communicate with stakeholders and manage expectations.
• Analytical mindset with accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process and validate weekly and fortnightly payrolls for Australian and international employees.
• Ensure compliance with taxation, superannuation, portable long service leave and employment legislation.
• Partner with HR and Industrial Relations to facilitate accurate payments.
• Maintain compliance with STP, MyLeave, Centrelink reporting and external portals.
• Calculate back payments, termination payments and payroll adjustments.
• Interpret EBAs, awards, overtime provisions and allowances.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
